Lamp 2 Feet is a Bible reading journal and daily Scripture project at lamp2feet.com. This page covers the website, the daily walk page, and a small internal tool we use to publish our own content.
On the daily walk page, verses you mark, what you write, one step, and prayer notes stay in your browser on this device. Prayer requests on My Prayer stay in the same way, in a separate list. We do not receive the words you write. Clearing site data, using another browser or device, or private browsing will delete or hide them unless you import a backup file you exported from My Walk (Walk notes and prayer requests together).
When you first save a day, the page may send an anonymous “activated” ping so we can count how many people started writing. On a later day, it may send one anonymous “returned” ping. Neither includes your notes, your name, or an account.
We run a personal operator tool (lamp2feet-uploader) that connects to Pinterest with OAuth so we can create Pins of our own videos and stills onto our own boards. It is not a product for other people’s accounts. We do not offer Pinterest login to site visitors.
When the operator connects Pinterest, we store the OAuth tokens and Pinterest account identifiers needed to create those Pins. We do not sell this data. We do not use it to build advertising profiles or to contact Pinterest users.
If you request our free email sample on this site, we collect your email to send the confirmation and sample (via our email provider). That is separate from Pinterest.
Tokens exist only so the operator can post Pins they explicitly request. We do not read or post to anyone else’s boards.
We keep tokens only while we still need to publish to our boards. We delete them if we stop using the tool. You can revoke access at any time in your Pinterest account settings (Apps and websites / connected apps). After you revoke, we cannot create Pins until someone reconnects.
